R E G L A M E N T

1. PURPOSE AND AIM
1.1 to promote the volleyball game among youth and junior teams.
1.2 To check the readiness of the teams to participate in European and EEVZA Championships.

2. TIME AND VENUE
2.1 Competition will be held from 26th to 28th October 2007 in Lithuania, Siauliai
Arrival: 26.10.2007
Departure: 28.10.2007
2.2 Competition will be held in two age groups for teams (boys and girls) as follows:
Junior (A) group: for participants born in 1989 – 1990 (boys) and 1990-1991 (girls)
Youth (B) group: for participants born in 1991-1992 (boys) and 1992-1993 (girls).

3. BODIES RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COMPETITIONS:
The Volleyball Federation of Lithuania will be responsible for organizing of “Baltic Cup 2007” competitions.

4. RULES
Competitions will be held according to the FIVB Rules of the game with official FIVB approved ball ERIMA, MIKASA MVP 200. The members of each team have the same colour of uniforms.

5. PARTICIPANTS
Girls group A – Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Lithuania II (not for record )
Boys group A - Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Lithuania II (not for record )
Girls group B - Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Lithuania II
Boys group B - Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Lithuania II

6. METHOD OF COMPETITION
Every team will play against each other team.
Allocation of points:
- match won 2points
- match lost 1 point
In case of equal points, teams shall be settled according to the quotient of sets won and lost. In case of equal the quotient of sets, the teams will be settled according to the won and lost points in all sets of all matches.
A match will be accounted for a lost with a result of 0-3 (0-25; 0-25; 0-25) if the team will does not register for the match.

7. PRIZE OF HONOR:
The prize – the first three teams in final record will be awarded with diplomas. The best player in each age group will be awarded with an individual prize. The members of all teams will be awarded with diplomas.

8. ENTRY FORMS
The participating teams has to register until October 22, 2007 by sending form EEVZA 05-bis to the Lithuanian Volleyball Federation.

9. COMPOSITION OF DELEGATION
Each teams compositions is 12 players and 2 coaches.
The composition of delegation is 4 teams and the head of delegation.

10. ACCOMODATION
All accommodation and feeding (26-28 October 2007) expenses will be covered by Lithuanian Volleyball federation.
