Participants of Baltic Women Volleyball League 2010 Edition are two best women teams of season 2008-2009 or 2009-2010 from each of the Baltic (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) countries.
Estonian teams are invited:
1) EST 1 - Viljandi Metall
2) EST 2 - Estonian Junior Team
Latvian teams are invited:
1) LAT 1 - SVK Riga
2) LAT 2 - LU/Jelgava
Lithuanian teams are invited:
1) LTU 1 - Achema KKSC
2) LTU 2 - Heksa

Competitions System and Match Calendar
No main tournament will be played
Six teams will qualify to Final Tournament (Final Six), where the games will be played as follows:
I Day (Friday) - Quarterfinals:
Match 1 - LTU 2. vs EST 2
Match 2 - LTU 1. vs LAT 2

II Day (Saturday) – Semifinals and game for 5th Place:
Match 3 (for 5th place) - Loser of Match 1 vs Loser of Match 2
Match 4 - Winner of Match 1 vs LAT 1
Match 5 - Winner of Match 2 vs EST 1

III Day (Sunday)
Match 6 (for 3rd Place) - Loser of Match 4 vs Loser of Match 5
Match 7 (for 1st Place) - Winner of Match 4 vs Winner of Match 5
Match for the 3rd place has to be played before the match of the 1st place.

Priority to organize of Final Six Tournament has club from Latvia, second priority club from Lithuania, 3rd priority club from Estonia . Written confirmation of the possible organizing of Final Six has to be sent to respective National Federation till 4 December 2009.
